Health & Wellness

1. Develop and maintain a way of eating that complements and contributes with how I want to live my life.
2. Maintain an A1C that is within acceptable parameters throughout the 1001 days.
3. Train for and run (mostly) a 5K by the end of February 2008.
4. Train for and run (without walking at all) a 5K by the end of April 2008.
5. Train for and run a 10K by the end of July 2008.
6. Train for and run half marathon by the end of November 2008.
7. Train for and run a full marathon by the end of November 2009.
8. Learn how to swim.

Personal Convictions and Development
9. Continue purchasing locally grown and organic produce and meats - we do a good job now, but can easily move up to 100%.
10. Endeavor to do better in areas of time spent with Matthew - like with more arts & crafts, going to the park, teaching him how to cook, and showing an interest in his interests.
11. Find and volunteer for a charitable organization and political organization. Make the change I want to see.

Professional Development
- Publish an article.
- Apply for a promotion/new job. Even if I don’t get it, I will become a better person for having applied.

- Besides family visits, plan at least two vacations (Alaska and Colorado come to mind).
